Duplin County Animal Services Support

Pet Friends works closely with the Duplin County Animal Shelter, providing funding in past years for HeartWorm tests for dogs at the shelter. HeartWorm tests help make the shelter animals rescue or adoption ready.

We also help meet needs identified by the Shelter staff such as special beds, extra towels, facilitating donations of food and litter, and donating large dog houses and cat bins for DCAS to give to folks in need whose animals live outside.
