PFDC funds the spay/neuter surgeries of 6 shelter dogs and up to 16 shelter quarterly. By ensuring that the animals are fixed before leaving the shelter PFDC helps decrease the unwanted pet population. PFDC also increases the shelter's adoption and rescue rate due to lower adoption fees.
