Feral Cat Program - inactive

In order to help cut down the unwanted animals population, we have supported a very limited Trap - Spay/Neuter - Release Feral Cats program. When contacted by feral cat “owners” (those who help care for the feral cats), two of our members worked to capture those cats and transported them to low-cost spay/neuter clinics for spay&/or neuter, rabies vaccine, and ear clipping. The volunteers returned them to their owners. The feral cat “owners” paid the veterinarian care fee and ensured the cats had a safe place to recover after surgery. In addition to the volunteer work, Pet Friends underwrote other costs of this program, including recovery kennels and supplies.

We are no longer able to provide this service. New volunteers would be needed to restart this program. Contact PFDC if interested in volunteering.
