People dealing with strays or cast-offs, or with other problems such as abuse, cruelty, or bites, must contact the appropriate authority for assistance. Duplin County Animal Services has authority in all animal cases in unincorporated areas of Duplin County.

Anyone needing assistance or reporting animal issues outside the limits of the below listed towns should contact Duplin County Animal Services by calling 910-296-2159, Option 3, or emailing dcanimals@duplinnc.com.
